Hi everyone,

I've hit a bit of a dead end with trying to find a solution to my current problem, or actually problems.

I'm working on a multi-forms app that shall act as a front end to a sharepoint list. Part of that list are two fields that are used to categorize the record on a two dimensional matrix (4x4; names: priority and category). In the list they are both choice columns with four options each.

Instead of the standard UI with the drop-down boxes I would like to use two columns of large buttons with enough text to explain the choices to the users. Clicking one button in each column and a nice "submit" button should then write back the choices into the data cards update property.

Unfortunately I can't find any decent explanation how to reference the individual choices from the list and how to interact with the selections. Ideally the drop down should still be there to allow a user knowing the priority and category without looking at the decision matrix to quickly pick the entries.

The less elegant option I can see would be to change the column type in sharepoint to single line of text and circumvent the problem.

I'm not after a ready made solution but I would be grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction (website, video, tutorial) that would help me understand and solve this conundrum.
