I have created a combobox where you can selected severeal items and save it to a sharepoint list.

QualitativeTargets:combQualitativeTargets.SelectedItems

When I create a gallery , I can not view the data from the combobox. How do I achieve that ?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi @vidarv,

    If I understand it correctly, you have created a new Gallery in which you show several records from your SharePoint list. The Items are showing correctly but the ComboBox linked to the MultiChoice field is not showing any values?

    The Items Property of the Comboboxes (in the gallery) would be:

    //Adjust LISTNAME to the actual name of your SharePoint list
    Choices(LISTNAME.QualitativeTargets)

     This will display the options when clicking open the combobox.

    To fill the comboboxes with the values of that row, we will have to add some code to the DefaultSelectedItems:

    ThisItem.QualitativeTargets

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution.

    Thanks!

    Thank you for answering @LaurensM . Maby I was unclear in my question. My combobox items was

    Choices(ActivityPlan.QualitativeTargets)

    after saving it to my SharePointlist. I created a gallery named galPlanActivity. I insert a textbox in my gallery and set the textcontroll to ThisItem. (I got no suggestions). I tried to create a collection. This time i gor a suggestion but noe value was showed.

    Hi @vidarv,

    What is the Items property of you Gallery?

    If you plan to display all SharePoint items, you will have to use a combobox in that gallery to display the QualitativeTargets of each record (see code in my previous comment).

    If you want to display all the QualitativeTargets of one record in that gallery, the items property should be:

    //As an example I use First(), change this to your way of showing that record
    //This can be a variable e.g. varName.QualitativeTargets
    //or a galleryName.Selected.QualitativeTargets

    First(ActivityPlan).QualitativeTargets

    The label would have the following code in the Text property:

    ThisItem.Value

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution.

    Thanks!

    Hi @LaurensM
    I am sorry, but the result is not showing correct. The gallery is initial set to the sharepointlist ActivityPlan.

    The sharePointliste is showing 7 items
    Category, Category2, Category3, Activity, Indicator, QuantitativeTargt and QualitativeTarget (a choicecoloumn)

    The items of the Gallery is set to ActivityPlan .
    If I set the Items to

    First(ActivityPlan).QualitativeTargets

    It will only show two items of the QualityTargets not all of the others items that is saved in the sharepoint list.
    If I create a nested gallery the same thing is happening, but it is only showing QualityTargets.

    Hi @vidarv,

    If you want to show all records and their selected items for QualitativeTargets, my first comment will have the solution you seek. The Items property of the gallery will be ActivityPlan ,which will show all records in that SharePoint list.

    To show all values of a Multi Selection choice field (meaning multiple values can be stored), you will need to add a combobox in that gallery with Choices(LISTNAME.QualitativeTargets) as the Items property and ThisItem.QualitativeTargets as the DefaultSelectedItems property.

    If you want to display the values concatenated in a text field instead of a ComboBox you will need to add the following code to the Text property of the label:

    //This will show the text as Value1, Value2, Value3
    Concat(ThisItem.QualitativeTargets, Value, ", ")

    If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution.

    Thanks!
