launch email with HTML text

Hi, 

 

I want to create an form with powerapps where users provide a bit of input to generate an email. 

That e-mail I then want to open in outlook so that users can edit the text (incl. pictures and attachments) and send it out.

 

I've gotten the e-mail to be created correct in an HTML editor, but how can I get that HTML text to the body of an email in outlook?

    I recommend to create a power automate flow. In the flow create an email trigger with data given by the user in the powerapps.

    I started trying this with a flow actually., but I don't see any options in power automate to launch a "new mail" window in outlook with prefilled text. I only see a send mail option. 

    Can I open a new mail in outlook via power automate?

    Hi @kiki_musampa 

    It's not possible to launch a new mail in Outlook via a Power Automate Flow.

    It's not possible to Launch a mailto link and to include HTML content. Therefore, I can't think of anyway in which you would be able to do this.
