I want to read an excel document from onedrive in a desktop flow.
What are you trying to do?
Normally PAD flows are for performing the actions that can't be done through web flows. You can use the OneDrive/SharePoint/Excel connectors in Power Automate Web to read excel documents. If you need to pass the information to a PAD flow then you can call the PAD flow from the web and pass variables into it.
It is also possible to use an Excel file in PAD. You just need to make sure that the file is stored (synced with OneDrive) onto the computer you're using.
Thanks is it possible to push an entire excel doc to the PAD? I think I can probably just sequentially iterate the desktop flow with variables by running it multiple times from power automate but it seems that this will take quite a long time to run.

Of course you can get the entire data from an excel file as a datatable in PAD.
