Hi Folks,
I have a form,
it has a data field as 'Comments' and its sharepoint list data source is 'multi line text column' .
This form can be filled by many users for the same entity, therefore i want comments that can be added date wise and previous comments can't be removed.
Idea behind is to keep a track of the comments on various dates.
Any idea would be very much appreiciated.

I think this one will help you.
My solution is on the list but the same logic you can apply on CDS Data Source
You can see below screen, I have achieved date wise comment with comment flag and username only in one column (multiline text)
You can join all your individual field with some special character and whenever you want, Split your data and show into the gallery view
In my case :
I want to store four fields in my multiline column like below
Comment | Merge with Special Character | CreatedBy | Merge with Special Character | CreatedDate | Merge with Special Character | Flag | Merge item with Another spec character |
Comment 1 | && | UserName 1 | && | CurrentDate 1 | && | Your Comment Flag 1 | $$ |
Comment 2 | && | UserName 2 | && | CurrentDate 2 | && | Your Comment Flag 2 |

It will be stored like this
