Why I am unable to use a People or Group column inside the Column chart's Label

I have the following sharepoint list, which show a People or Group column named Engineer + 2 numeric numbers, as follow:-

now i want to build a column chart which show 2 columns for each user, i did the following:-

I create a canvas >> link it to the sharepoint list >> insert a Column chart >> define the number of series as 2, as follow:-

and for the item as i define the following inside series1 and series2, but the issue is that inside the Labels i can not select the Engineer field, here is what i got:-

any advice on this please>

I believe the limitation is because of the field type in SharePoint. As a workaround you can add a text column to display the engineer's name in the Items property of the column chart and then that new text column will show up in the label drop down.

In this Item property example it would create a new column called "EngineerNew" that will show up in the labels drop down box.

AddColumns('SharePointListName', "EngineerNew", EngineerColumnName.DisplayName)
