Daily email that will send the contents of a specific sharepoint list VIEW

Hello,

I am having trouble creating a flow. I have a sharepoint list with a variety of messages for different people. This list then has a view which shows all the messages for specific people, for example the view "TomMessagesToday" will include all messages that arrived for Tom on that day. I want to create a flow which grabs all the data from a specific view and then sends it to that person's email. For example if the view was called "TomMessagesToday", I could set a flow to grab the data from this view and send it to Tom@email.com on a daily basis.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Considering the flow will run on a daily basis, you can use the recurrence/time based trigger in the flow

    - Click on +new step to add "GET ITEMS"(sharepoint) action, in this action card after selecting the site address and list name click on show advanced options and you will find an option (limit columns by view) to select the view. Select the desired view of your choice.

-> Click on +new step and select CREATE HTML TABLE action, in the from set it to value, and columns you can leave as automatic or if you want you can set them manually.

-> After this add SEND EMAIL action and enter the email address of the user to whom you want to send the email and select the output of CREATE HTML TABLE action.

If you want to configure for multiple users in the same flow, then after the trigger add a parallel branch and repeat the same steps.

the completed flow for one user will look as below

    Hello,

Thank you for your quick response. I have followed the steps and have been able to create the flow. However, it appears that the data that is received in the email table corresponds to All items instead of the selected view, despite having selected the correct view in "limit columns by view". I have tried re-creating the view and the view looks correct on sharepoint.

    Thanks,

    Sion
