How to unfilter a sharepoint list?

Hi guys,

 

I need your help on understanding how to unfilter my sharepoint list. 

In a page I have a sharepoint list called "EmployeeTable1"(columns name are ID, Name, Role, Department) that can be filtered by a dropdown list (possible choice for filtering are Role or Deparment) and a text input field that, based on the dropdown value, it filters the list based on the text.

 

How can I unfilter totally the sharepoint list when the page is called from another page?

    Hello, 

    It might not be the best solution, but I would create a boolean variable that is set to true when navigated from specific pages.
    Then I would just use a if condition to filter it or not depending of the state of the variable.
    Then you might want to set it to false after leaving that page.
    Additionally if you want the deny the filtering, you can set the dropdown visibility to false if the variable is true.
