Unable to get the Email address of a SharePoint People/Group field

We have a field which represents a SharePoint People/Group field, and we want to get the Mail of the selected user, i tried this formula:-

First(Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm:DataCardValue32.Selected.Value})).Mail

but got this error:-

Office365Users.UserProfileV2 failed: { "error": { "code": "ResourceNotFound", "message": "User not found", "innerError": { "date": "2022-09-03T08:20:24", "request-id": "2fea53cd-8e0c-4f05-9125-dc89cfe525f7", "client-request-id": "2fea53cd-8e0c-4f05-9125-dc89cfe525f7" } } }

Any advice?

Assuming DataCard32.Selected.Value is the User's correct DisplayName,it is correct. I just tested it here and it worked fine. You might check your AD.

DataCardValue32.Selected.Value

will return the display name of the user... so why this is not working in my case?Thanks

I am saying it should - it is correct from my knowledge and it worked fine for me. I assume this is a single select control ? As a test, type the name in a Text box and use the formula on that.

If its a people/group field you don't need to search to get the email address. The email address is one of the properties of the field. .Value is the display name, but Email should be another property of the selected value.
