Mandatory field still blocks the form even after being suppressed

Hi all 🙂

I have created a mandatory field directly from a canvas application (when creating a form).

I suppressed it from Powerapps after that, unfortunately it still blocks me from submiting the form without this field.

Somebody has a solution ?

You cannot suppress mandatory field in the form. What you need to do is to go to your Datasource and rather remove the required from that column. What Datasource are you using. Make The Field not required in the Table.

I could suppress the field from Powerapps, and it is not anymore in the fields table.
I use Contact

The field does not exist anymore but i still have the message for mandatory blocking.

If you have removed the column in the Table, you can restart the App. Remove in the Table not the field in the form, for it to take effect.

Eka's reply below should work for your PowerApp please give it a try and mark it as answered if its helps. Otherwise you can always create a ticket with Microsoft Support but it looks like we are on the right track here.

I Indeed suppressed the field from the form then from the entity field table. I checked : it is not anymore in Powerapps.
But still I have a message telling me the field is mandatory and that field blocks the form submitting.

It seems that Powerapps doesn't recognize that I suppressed/deleted the field.

If you have deleted and not recognizing, then Delete that table connection in Powerapps and Reconnect that same Table. That should work with the new columns
