Data not returning

Hello Power Team, I am creating a power app and having trouble returning data from my combo box to my share point list. For my on select, I am using a patch function to send the data into share point. Is there a better function to use? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What is  your patch()? If you want it to work after you select a value, it should be in the OnChange property.

I was reading and thought onchange would send the data anytime the combo box was open and on select is when the data sends after the field is selected?

    here is my patch : Patch('Non-Buy Notes',Defaults('Non-Buy Notes'),{'DBA Name':ComboBox1.Selected})

Nope, you got it backwards.  OnSelect executes when the focus is set to the combobox and OnChange occurs once the default of the combobox is changed to something else.

I seem to still have an error in my equation even moving it to the OnChange function.

    I need more information.

    • Is the combobox in a form?
    • Is the combobox multiselect?
    • What is the Items property of the combobox?

    • Is the combobox in a form?
      • Not sure - apologies fairly new to power apps
    • Is the combobox multiselect?
      • Not a multi select but is searchable
    • What is the Items property of the combobox?
      • the items property is coming from "table 1" which is an excel table that I imported into the power app of accounts.

Please post a screenshot of the screen containing your combobox.

I have it working as a "dropdown" but can't get the combobox to be able to return the data. I have attached a screenshot :

    @Jacob-AB

    Try ComboBox1.Selected.'DBA Name' or ComboBox1.Selected.Value
