Combo Box - Multi-select values with same name

Hi guys,

Currently trying to use a combo box to filter another table based on matching ID values of a gallery row so I can pick related values.

Shows the items well enough but when picking them, if you choose one that has a shared item name with another in the list, it highlights that one as well so it can't also be selected. The items only share the same name, their other relational column information that I need is different - what is happening that's causing this and is their something I can do to fix it?

Some context, I've got a gallery of items and the combo box is within there so you can search per row for a related tables information based on the sql row ID.

I've had a look online but can't find a related forum post.

1 - The combo box 2 - Combo box open 3 - One selected, two highlighted - only saves the initially pressed ones related column details.

Adding this reply for what I've had to do to work within Powerapps limitations.

It seems combo boxes that are referencing table information have a natural preference to only allow the selection of one value and just highlighting the ones with a matching names beyond that. The fix is to make a text column with unique values and use that in the combo box selection instead.
