Passing Choice Dropdown

Having issues on how to store a CHOICE dropdown, and PERSON data type into an already set variable, varSelected.

I am able to pass a title data field into it, but not able to do so for choice and person data type.

I have attached images to explain further.


I need help Powerapps Champs.

    It appears that you are using a form so I am making the assumption that you are.  If so,

    • make sure that the Item property of the form is LookUp(splist,ID=varSelected.ID), assuming the name of your list is splist. 
    • Delete these two cards and then re-add them back into the form. 
    • There should be comboboxes in the new cards and the Items properties should be Choices([@splist].Category) and Choices([@splist].'Assigned to'), respectively.
    • Check the Update property of the card If name of the combobox in the card is DataCardValue14 then the Update property of the card should be DataCardValue14.Selected
    • The DefaultSelectedItems property of both comboboxes should be Parent.Default.
