Missing Dependency: non-existing table without displayName (involving a lookup field)

I am deploying a solution from DEV to TEST and get a Missing Dependencies error with the following XML message:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<MissingDependencies>
 <MissingDependency>
 <Required type="2" schemaName="olcm_businesspartnername" parentSchemaName="incident" parentDisplayName="Case" solution="Active" />
 <Dependent type="2" schemaName="customerid" displayName="Requester" parentSchemaName="incident" parentDisplayName="Case" />
 </MissingDependency>
</MissingDependencies>

However...:

  • the required table to which the message is pointing ('olcm_businesspartnername') does not exist; and
  • it has no 'displayName' attribute (??)

Possibly relevant information

  • 'Business Partner' is the changed displayname of the account table
  • the attribute that depends on this table ('customerid') refers is the out-of-the-box polymorphic 'Customer' lookup field on  the Case table

Just as background:

  • I got 3 missing dependencies of which I solved the first 2 by adding the missing entity relation 'olcm_account_Incident_595'. I reckon my issue has something to do with that relationship...
  • all other missing dependencies did have 'displaynames'.

    EDIT: I solved it by deleting the (existing) custom table "olcm_businesspartners" - to which the case table was refering - entirely from the environment. It solved the issue with missing dependencies
