When transferring data from Sharepoint list to a .csv file, there is unwanted formatting. How do I get rid of the formatting?

For example, this is one of the output columns in the csv file. I only want the "Value" of this, but it returns all this other stuff. How do I filter it all out and format it so I just get the "Value" back?

    Hey @mmar1

To get the value from the above object you will have to write an expression.

The expression would be something similar:

    items('Apply_to_each')?['YourColumnName']?['Value']

The above expression would work if its inside an apply to each loop.

If it is not, I will tell you a trick.

Just double click the dynamic expression you have used in the flow. When its highlighted just copy it with ctrl+c shortcut.

After this remove the current dynamic expression.

Click on the tab again, and select expressions, paste the expression you copied before, remove extra @ {} symbols.

Now just write ?['Value'] ahead of it and press Ok.

I hope this works. If this doesnt can you show the flow and atleast paste the expression here. I will do it for you.

    I hope this helps 🙂

Hi! Thank you for your response. I am currently getting this error when I try the second method you gave:

Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Create_CSV_table' inputs at line '0' and column '0': 'The template language expression 'outputs('Get_items')?['body/value']?['Value']' cannot be evaluated because property 'Value' cannot be selected. Array elements can only be selected using an integer index. Please see https://aka.ms/logicexpressions for usage details.'.

    Any tips?

Hi Sundeep, here is my flow for the formatting above. I'm not sure where to include the formatting and expression. Thank you for the help!
