Update parent gallery only when multiple items in child gallery are true.

Hi,

Hopefully a simple problem that someone can help me with.

I have 2 galleries on my page one displays my parent SharePoint list 'Purchase Order Master' the other displays my child list 'Order Details' these are both linked by their ID.

The 'Order Details' can be updated via a EditForm when that item is selected.

What I would like to happen is, only when all the items in the details gallery have been marked as 'Goods Receipted' the Goods Receipt status in the Master Gallery is automatically updated to show this.

The fields are labels in the galleries and a dropdown option in the form

    Hi @StewG

    I am not wrong you would like to show only good receipts in the 2nd gallery when is selected or makred, this can be added by using the below code as I do not know what your code is from both the gallery for now, I have tested on my end it works fine for me you can try below code, else if i am wrong please let me know by sharing the code as well.

    Filter(yourDataSource,
    IsBlank(Dropdown1.Selected.Value) || IsEmpty(Dropdown1.Selected.Value) || ColumnName = Dropdown1.Selected.Value,
    IsBlank(TextInput1.Text) || IsEmpty(TextInput1.Text) || ColumnName = TextInput1.Text))

    You can modify the code based on your need should work fine

    "Please do not forget to give kudos if you find the suggestion helpful or Accept it as a solution if works fine to help other users to find it useful. "

    Hi, @Tapesh

    Thank you for your reply.

    I do not want to filter the gallery, I am trying to find a way where once all of the individual items are updated to show they have been Goods Receipted. Then the Master Gallery - Goods Receipted status is automatically updated to Goods Receipted to show this.

    Thank you

    @StewG ,

    From my understanding, you don't have a column in Parent list to keep track of the good receipt general status and you want to use the data from child list.

    You can set the Text property of Label (where you show the good receipt status) from Parent Gallery to:

    If(
     IsBlank(
     LookUp(ChildGallery.AllItems, GoodReceivedLabel.Text<>"All Goods Receipted")
     ),
     "All Goods Receipted",
     "Part Goods Receipted"
    )

    Of course, following the same principle, you can set the Fill property of the same control to be yellow or green based on the child list "good receipt" values.

    And also if in Parent list you need a "Not Good Receipted", you can modify the If sentence above to treat this situation.

    Hope it helps !

    Hi @gabibalaban

    Sorry I don't think I've explained myself very well.

    My parent list 'Purchase Order Master' has a a column in it called 'Order Received'.

    My child list 'Request for Official Requistion' has a column in it called 'Goods Receipted Status'. This list may have multiple items in it linked to the parent list by 'ID'.

    The child list items can be edited by a Form.

    What I would like to happen is once all the items for that record are updated to "All Goods Receipted" it updates Parent list as "All Goods Receipted".

    I have been trying to build a formula along the lines of the one below using the OnSelect of a Save button but not having much luck.

    UpdateIf(ForAll('Request for Official Requistion',ThisRecord.'Goods Receipted Status'.Value = "All Goods Receipted",
    Patch('Purchase Order Master', MasterGallery_5.Selected, {'Order Received': "All Goods Receipted"}))
