Issue with horizontal scrolling in gallery

Hi Respective Community Members,

I have created a grid inside containers (refer to image for 'Elements Tree Structure) which has a width greater than the screen display and therefore, a horizontal scroll bar is present at the bottom.

My issue is that as soon as I scroll to the right (from image 'Grid at initial Position' to 'Grid at displaced position'), the labels of the grid column als!o scroll but not in sync with their respective grid columns and get displaced!

I need help on this as I'm totally new to powerapps and cannot find a solution yet!

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

(Note: I have blurred out the image to protect data, but the shift in columns as soon as it is scrolled is visible)

Hi @Shagun_Sharma ,

Please make sure that Width of the horizontal Container 3_1 is the same as screen width, and Width of Main Container_1 is larger than Width of Container 3_1, in the end, set Width of Gallery and container Header_1 to

Parent.Width

Don't forget deactivating scroll bar of the Gallery.

Thanks for your response.

Like you said, the widths of the relevant items were indeed as per your suggestion, however I deactivated the Show Scrollbar option of the gallery as well (hope you were referring to that only).

But the issue still persists!

I checked the columns and label sequence as well, and they are same in number with header elements X position set equivalent to gallery's elements X position, but the scrolling still displaces the header labels after scrolling.

Hi Members,

Appreciate your efforts but I was able to resolve the issue!

The issue was-
The X coordinate of the gallery and header container (both inside the main container) were changing the values of X position differently resulting in the shift.
And this was because I had set the header's X as Parent.X while hardcoded the Gallery's X as 0 (silly yet difficult to spot somehow)!

When I changed the value of X to Parent.X for all, it worked and elements inside both gallery and header also scrolled perfectly
