Hi Everyone,

How do I make the datepicker in sharepoint list set default to today's date and cannot be back dated using custom form from powerapps

Hi @krfajar,

You will need to change the DefaultDate and OnChange properties of the DatePicker control. Additionally, make sure your DataCard containing the DatePicker is unlocked. (Select the DataCard, navigate to the right property panel, select 'Advanced' and unlock the datacard)

(1) Change the DefaultDate property to autofill the datepicker with today's date

Today()

(2) Change the OnChange property to not allow dates in the past

If( Self.SelectedDate < Today(), Reset(Self); Notify( "You cannot select a date in the past.", NotificationType.Error, 5000 ) )

it works now. However, after submitting, it is successfully, but the error " You cannot select a date in the past. ' still prompts. How can I fix it? thanks!

when the form is submitted successfully, reset(editform1) will be executed. Is the reset function to trigger this error? if so, how can I fix it to keep the reset function? Thanks!
