Hello,
I am getting records from SQL table A from X db, then using ID from table A to get records from Jira. Now I am trying to update data from SQL to Jira if the ID from SQL matches with the Jira record; if it doesnt match, it should create. I'm successful until this part.
In the update of SQL to Jira, we have a field called ‘ITSME(user) in table A from SQL db X that needs to be mapped to Jira's field ‘Support contact', but Jira doesn’t accept the user name as an input from API request instead, we need to pass the objectID of that user.
Now we have SQL table B in db Y, which has user name and objectID columns, so when we update SQL to Jira, we need to retrieve the objectID of the ITSME from table B and map it to the Support contact field for each record.
I have tried adding SQL get rows step to get the ObjectID from Table B based on the current ITSME value. And I am getting the ObjectID but since it is an array I am unable to set that in Jira update request.
Should I be doing this differently?
