Specific user gets 404 errors when triggering Office 365 and SharePoint APIs

Hi,

We have a specific user that has recently been added to an existing, working Power App (Canvas). Other users of various configurations have been using this app fine for a while so we're happy that the other app is working as expected. When this user tries to use the app they are getting "404 recourse not found" errors. When monitoring a session we can see the following:

  • Office 365 - DirectReportsV2 - 404: Resource not found
  • Office 365 - ListGroupMembers - 200: Success
  • SharePoint Online - getLookupResults - 404: Resource not found
  • SharePoint Online - getRows - : Resource not found

Upon review we can't find any difference for this users account such as license allocation, app allocation, group permissions, SharePoint permissions.

Does anyone have any ideas of what might be causing this issue or the best way to investigate it further?

Thanks

Jake

    Hi,

We have been able to resolve this with the following steps:

    1. (As Admin) Remove the effected users share access to the app.
    2. (As Effected User) Delete all connectors from the Connections section in the Power Platform admin panel (Image 2).
    3. (As Admin) Share the app out to the user as per the normal process.
    4. (As Effected User) Access the app and allow the connections that get created.
    5. (As Effected User) Check the app is working as expected.

The issue was caused by some bad connectors being created on first-use for this user.

I hope this helps anyone who has similar issues in the future.

    Thanks

    Jake
