Issue with Power Automate Desktop Bot in Unattended Mode

Hello Community,

I’m facing an issue with a Power Automate Desktop bot. The bot works perfectly in attended mode and runs successfully in unattended mode occasionally.

However, most of the time, the unattended run fails with the following error:

We have the Power Automate Process license for running unattended flows, so licensing should not be the issue. The failed flow is very simple—just a single action to test if the bot works in unattended mode.

Has anyone experienced this intermittent error? Any suggestions on how to prevent session logoff during unattended runs?

Issue with Power Automate Desktop Bot in Unattended Mode

Hi there!

The most likely root cause, since it does unattended sometimes, is someone is logging into to that machine as another user while it is running. That will force your unattended run to abort. One of many possible causes.
