Selected combobox value saving to SP list, but not showing up in saved custom form

Hi Community,

Need some assistance to troubleshoot why the selected value in a combobox is not saving to a custom form. Value is saving to SharePoint list.

In the "Custom form" print screen I expect to see "C" in the "Application name" column.

Thanks in advance for reading.

    Hi @kaz01 ,

    If that is a Combo Box, what are the Items and DefaultSelectedItems or if a Dropdown, the Items and Default

    Hi @WarrenBelz Thank you for the reply.

    It is a Combo box

    DefaultSelectedItems

    Hi @kaz01 ,

    I am assuming field names a bit here, but your DefaultSelectedItems should be something like

    {'Application/Product': ThisItem.'Application name'}

    @WarrenBelz I am getting this message back.

    kaz01_0-1683915970666.png

    Application name value looks up Application/Product from Platform test table

    kaz01_1-1683921136920.png

    Application/Product is a single line of text column.

    @kaz01 ,

    You can ignore that message, but it looks like you need

    {'Application/Product': ThisItem.'Application/Product'}

    Essentially the first part if the field name displayed in the Combo Box and the second the field name from the data source it needs to display.

    @kaz01 ,

    Can we please take a step back here - you only need two values and I cannot see your data

    {TheFieldTheComboBoxDisplays: ThisItem.TheFieldInYourList}

    Hi Warren,

    I tried the following, with these results.

    Tried scenarios:

    1. {'Application/Product': ThisItem.'Application name'} Results: no change
    2. {'Application name': ThisItem.'Application/Product'} Results: Error message "Name isn't valid. Application/Product isn't recognized.
    3. {'Application/Product': ThisItem.'Application/Product'} Results: Error message "Name isn't valid. Application/Product isn't recognized.

    Both Application name and Application/Product columns are single line of text.

    They come from two tables. Helpdesk test and Platform test.
