Hi there!

I am having a few difficulties in creating radio button in my Power Apps forms. I have 2 column in the "Main Table" in Dataverse which is "Component Type" and "Part Number".

Picture below show the Part Number column, and it is the part number for Electronic (E). I also have the part number for Mechanical(M) and Pneumatic(P).

and picture below show the Component Type column for the Electronic component.

I have 3 choices of Component Type, which are Electronic, Mechanical and Pneumatic.

How to make the user click on the electronic radio button, the part number for the electronic(E) will be added to 1, means that I wanted to make the part number is auto running number. And the user can only view the Part Number data field in the forms. Same goes to the Mechanical(M) and Pneumatic(P) component type.

Thank you in advance for helping me out!

    Hi @Az8PnG ,

In Default of the Text Input or Text of a Label, try and use below formula:

    Left(Radio.Value, 1) & "-" & Text(Last(Split(First(Sort(Filter('Main Table', StartsWith('Part Number', Left(Radio.Value, 1))), 'Part Number', SortOrder.Descending)).'Part Number', "-")).Value+1,"000000")

    Best regards,

How about the on select for the radio button, is it I need to set any formula? @v-jefferni

    Hi @Az8PnG ,

I don't think you need any formula OnSelect of the Radio control.
