Hello.

I have a power apps form.

It reads from a SPO list.

It has fields like.

Owner, Status, Status Confirmed.

Basically, only the person logged in can change the status.... What I need is when the user logged in changes to status to YES... I need the status confirmed to change to YES too. However, I do t want it to be instant...

I have written an If statement on Status Confirmed to say if Status = Yes, then Status Confirmed = Yes.

Can I have it so there is a delay. Or the user has to reload the form to have the status changed to Yes?.

Hi @Vstar19 ,

What sort of delay do you want? If you really want to force a form reload (assuming you are also moving away from the screen), then set a Variable

Set(gblStatus,true)

and at Screen OnVisible

UpdateContext({varStatus:gblStatus}); If( gblStatus, Reset(YourStatusConfirmedControl) )

Then on the Status Confirmed Control (you did not say what type it was) Default

If( varStatus, "Yes", Parent.Default )
