Hello all,
I have a problem with the Azure AD connector in Power Apps. My App should enable the HR manager to create a new user in azure without using the azure user interface. For this purpose I want to use the build in Azure AD connector.
Creating a new user works very well with the "AzureAD.CreateUser()" command. In the App the HR Manager gets a list of all employees to select the manager and a list with all Azure groups to select all groups the new employee should be a member of.
After creating the new employee in Azure AD the app should assign a manager and add the user to all the selected groups. The last one works very well with ForAll(cmbGroups.SelectedItems,
AzureAD.AddUserToGroup(ThisRecord.id, AzureAD.GetUser("userprincipalname").id)).
But the "AzureAD.AssignManager()" command doesn't work. I also tried to write a static manager id string in the command line like so:
AzureAD.AssignManager(glbNewEmployee.userPrincipalName, "1cba3344-a6ae-476a-8cb0-e81e5d8851b1")
as well as trying it with the GetUser command:
AzureAD.AssignManager(glbNewEmployee.userPrincipalName, AzureAD.GetUser("userprincipalname of selected manager").id)
Nothings works. I hope someone can help me.
Thanks and Greetings
