Hello Community!

I´m currently experiencing trouble when using a patch function.

I have 2 environtments, one is Production and the other is QA.

So basically the patch function work in the QA environment, and its this:

Patch(
 PCP_ALERTAS_AMS_QA,
 Defaults(PCP_ALERTAS_AMS_QA),
 {FOLIO_COTIZACION: lbl_Folio_Proyecto_1.Text},
 {ID_INFORMACION: Value(txt_ID_Informacion.Text)},
 {ANIO: Value(drp_Anio_Alerta_1.Selected.Value)},
 {MES: Value(drp_Mes_Alerta_1.Selected.Value)},
 {NUM_RECLAMOS_OF: Value(txt_Num_Rof.Text)},
 {NUM_RECLAMOS_NOF: Value(txt_Num_Rnof.Text)},
 {DESCRIPCION: txt_Descripcion_1.Text}
);

ResetForm(Form3);

Notify( "Alerta Registrada", NotificationType.Success, 0 )

And the patch works saving in the SQL QA SERVER

And now when i move to the Prod environment the patch function is the next :

Patch(
 PCP_ALERTAS_AMS,
 Defaults(PCP_ALERTAS_AMS),
 {FOLIO_COTIZACION: lbl_Folio_Proyecto_1.Text},
 {ID_INFORMACION: Value(txt_ID_Informacion.Text)},
 {ANIO: Value(drp_Anio_Alerta_1.Selected.Value)},
 {MES: Value(drp_Mes_Alerta_1.Selected.Value)},
 {NUM_RECLAMOS_OF: Value(txt_Num_Rof.Text)},
 {NUM_RECLAMOS_NOF: Value(txt_Num_Rnof.Text)},
 {DESCRIPCION: txt_Descripcion_1.Text}
);

ResetForm(Form3);

Notify( "Alerta Registrada", NotificationType.Success, 0 )

When i register the alert it throws:

Both tables are identical and have the same column names in the different servers of SQL, do I need to check anything else in the Prod SQL server or how do I need to compare the QA SQL server?

PD. I also tried creating the powerapp starting from sql to check if SubmitForm() was working, but it does not.

Any suggestions

Thanks.

    HI @HectorOlivos

    In this situation, I'd double check that both tables in QA and Prod are identical. Specifically, I'd check the primary key and identity column settings.

    Failing that, it might be worth recreating the connection in Prod to see if that makes a difference.

    Hi @timl,

    I checked why I was having this issue. I then noticed that the SQL user did not have any permission to insert, modify, or delete.

    Thanks,

    Thanks @HectorOlivos - the absence of those permissions would explain that error!
