Create CSV Table Columns Help

Hi all,

I am exporting a CSV from PowerApps to Power Automate and have noticed the export sorts all my columns in alphabetical order.

I know that this is done during the Create CSV Table action and to change this you need to change columns from automatic to custom.

I was just unsure on what expression I write for each column as I am passing the information through JSON without the parse JSON action.

Please see below for full action -

Compose - Ask In PowerApps (Content_Input)

Create CSV Table - json(outputs('Content'))

Create File - Create CSV Table Action.

    Hi @wardeee5 ,

The only way I know to avoid the alphabetical name is to simply not use JSON and do it the "long way" using Concat with commas and then send that to the Flow (where the raw output can be directly used in Create File in Flow).

    Hi Warren,

Appreciate it. I will investigate the long way if I can't figure out this way.

Surely this is what the Custom columns for the Create CSV Table is for though to avoid doing it the long way? Would it not be something like JSON(item)[1] for example?

    Hi @wardeee5 ,

I still use the "long way" (it is actually shorter at times)
