Hello guys,

I have this super simple app that uploads file to a specific document library. I want the name of the uploaded to be reporting data + selected date. But when I call on the datepicker, it formats the output in dd/mm/yy, and files are not allowed to have a "/" in their name. So I want for format the output of the datepicker to longdates. I tried changing the format in the datepicker control element, but it doesn't change the output

I was thinking maybe I could make this work with a couple of variables, but I can't seem to figure it out, please help.

Use Text() when you are concatenating the label to reformat the date to whatever format you want.  for example.

    Concatenate("Reporting Data ", Text(DatePicker1.SelectedDate, "yyyy_mm_dd"))

You could use variable is you need to refer to the name later or set the name to

    "Reporting Data" & Text(DateTimeValue(Text(DatePicker2.SelectedDate)), "yy-mm-dd")
I know there are other formats you can use, but I think that one will give you a valid file name, and I could not find the reference.
