I have 4 tables, Jobs, EmployeeJob, Training Tasks, EmployeeTraining

jobs is just that different jobs someone can can have

Training is the training that needs to be completed to do that job

employeejob is someone job, like when did they start, have they completed all training

employeeTraining is their training record for a jobs, have they taken the course, have they passed the test

Im trying to display this in a html text so that can become a nice pdf for auditing purposes. my issue is the employee table point to have the unique id of the other table so when i need more info such as the jobs name i been using lookup(job,id=selected.id), and as you will see below the columns across the table have the same name, the id for the job is Job_ID in both Job and Employee job.

in the html text i had was

Concat(Filter(employeejob,UserEmail=selected.UserEmail),

"<b>"&LookUp(job,job_ID=job_ID).Title & "...(more employeejob fields)

"&Concat(Filter(employeeTraining,EJob_ID=EJob_ID), LookUp(Training,Training_ID=Training_ID).Title

what i have now get me the job name but not the training

ClearCollect(UserJobs,Filter(employeejob,UserEmail=selected.UserEmail))

Concat(UserJobs,

"<b>"&LookUp(job,job_ID=UserJobs[@job_ID]).Title & "...(more employeejob fields)

"&Concat(Filter(employeeTraining,EJob_ID=EJob_ID), LookUp(Training,Training_ID=Training_ID).Title

just wonder if there is some sort of work around as i don't want to have to go and rename a column and change many things in my otherwise function app. i should mention that other than the lookup of the training name it works all other fields are displaying properly. it displays the name of the employeeTraing at position 1 in my table in all location and when i remove lookup and just have the EJob_ID its correct the lookup just isnt working

    You can use the As operator to qualify from where each column is coming from, similar to the example below (I used the Concatenate function instead of the & operator as you were doing to make it easier to see, but both should work)

    Concat(
     Filter(employeejob,UserEmail = selected.UserEmail) As EJ,
     Concatenate(
     "<b>",
     LookUp(job As J, J.job_ID = EJ.job_ID).Title,
     "...(more employeejob fields)",
     Concat(
     Filter(employeeTraining As ET, EJ.Job_ID = ET.Job_ID),
     LookUp(Training As T, T.Training_ID = ET.Training_ID).Title
     ...

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @adw5szz,

    I'd use AddColumns() to bring all the information into one table for your Concat().

    Concat(
     AddColumns(
     Filter( EmployeeJob, ...) As EJ,

     "Job_Title", LookUp( Jobs, ID = EJ.Job_ID),
     ....
     ),
     $"My job title is {Job_Title}",
     " "
    )
