Edit form removes text

I have an app with several forms in which I have multiple attributes, including a description field (text). When users wish to edit an existing form I have separate forms that are set to edit mode. This works fine if users only wishes to change the description, but whenever they change an attribute it removes the text in that form the next time it is reviewed. In the data list (sharepoint list) both the old and the new description is visible with timestamp , but when exporting to excel the description is left blank.

Item was edited from "test" to "humbug" before. Description field is required, so it is not possible to leave it blank.Item was edited from "test" to "humbug" before. Description field is required, so it is not possible to leave it blank.

Hey! Show me how you are submitting forms.

Plus, I have a suggestion. Have just 1 form.

    Check this video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CJuPB4MTys&t=

So, you have all that items.

    OnStart: Set(varEdit; false)

    The, when you click on the pencil: EditForm(Form1);
    Set(varEdit; true)

Then the other icons will appear and pencil will desappear

Not sure how that solution would help with my issue, but I will definately try it to simplify things.

Okay... Everthing seens to be "fine"... Do you have a ResetForm or NewForm?

Do you have a OnChange property? Or a OnReset? Are they all false?

Default mode on form is FormMode.Edit

OnChange and OnReset are all false.

Try, on the new screen what I told you about EditForm()

That sounds like a Power App bug..

Actually, I can't have it all in one form, because many of my fields in the NewForm contain default values from first input, such as CurrentSubmittedRecord.Title+1. If I did it all in one form my default values messes up when editing (I have tried and ended up with two forms).

Is there a way I can report this as a bug in this forum?
