Trying to show a Form DateTime field in an Email body with right time

Hello,

I am using a SP list which is fed through a Form.

In my Flow, I am trying to inform my fields by Email. Everything is ok, but the Time isn't correct. I would like to show the Form

submitDate

The time that I receive in that email, is two hours off.

However, the time stored in the sp list is correct !!

In my email body, I show that form field, in this way:

formatDateTime(outputs('Obtener_los_detalles_de_la_respuesta')?['body/submitDate'],'dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm')

If I select the SharePoint list field, same issue.
How can I show same time that I can see in my list field, that is correctly stored?
Thanks for your help.

    Hi @poweruser_71 ,

Actually in SharePoint it saves time with UTC time zone, it is the SharePoint converts the time to corresponding time zone based on the site's regional settings.

So in the flow to send emails with time stored in SharePoint, you can use the Convert time zone action to convert time after a Compose operator which converts the date time value to string, and then use the output in Email body.

    Best regards,

Hello @v-jefferni, and thanks for your reply.

finally I get the solution using the convertTimeZone in an Expression, directly on the email body, converting from 'UTC' to 'Romance Standard Time'.

    It worked for me:

    convertTimeZone(outputs('Obtener_los_detalles_de_la_respuesta')?['body/submitDate'],'UTC','Romance Standard Time','dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm')

Now I receive the correct date time of my Form "Submission time", with the format I wanted.

    Best regards.
