Button size resets in Canvas App when go to re-edit

I have created an Canvas App to support 2 buttons from a Dataverse Form that trigger a flow (Approval, Data Updates). I created and successfully tested with one button. I now add a second button within the same FormScreen in the App adjacent to the other. Having saved the app when I go into the Dataverse Table Form I see the two buttons correctly positioned (see screen shot 1). However when I go back to the App to modify the 2nd button to add the flow, the two buttons appear to be both resized to the size of the FormScreen (see screen shot 2). Why is this happenning? Is there some default sizing in play?

You should look in the control values for width and height and share the code that is there, if any. They could be preset to adaptive values.

Hi many thanks for reply - here are the values associated with one button. After going in to re-edit in the 'Properties' tab it shows a button size reset to 120 x 25, but in the Advanced Tab is shows it as 54 x 20 (the saved value).

If I modify the button size again using my curser on the button to the required size, the values in both align.
If you look at values in control view on re-edit (I think that's what it's called) it shows the intended size (e.g. width 48 as below).
n.b. There is a Property on the Form called 'Image Position'. It was initially set to 'Fit' but I tried changing it to different values (like 'Tile' or 'Centre' ) but with no effect that I could see. Not sure if this is relevant.
