Tigger Auto Saving

Dear All,

I am working on staff check in-out solution for my warehouse.

Simply operators will scan their id number and according to ID numbers other fields will be filled by lookup.

My intention once all fields are full, auto scan will start and navigation will bring it to new scan screen. Since more than 70 operator will do this scanning, timing is really important.

I check the post about auto saving but did not manage to implement proper solution.

Can i get your support?

    Hi @Ogun_ustun ,

Do you mean that once the Id is scanned and other fields are populated accordingly, the form will be automatically saved(checked in), and start a next scan, right?

    Hi @Ogun_ustun ,

You can add a invisible Timer control to execute CheckIn function automatically after Id is scanned for a few seconds.

initialize a variable when scanned to start the timer.

    Scanner.OnScan: Set(gblEnableTimer,true)

Add a Timer control and set properties as below

    Timer.Duration: 3000  //ms

    Timer.Start: gblEnableTimer

    Timer.OnTimeEnd:

Select(checkinbutton); // select to execute CheckIn OnSelect to execute your code

    Set(gblEnableTimer,false)// turn off Timer

    Hi @NelsonYan

    Sorry for late reply.

Actually scan will be done via cable scanner not function of powerapps. Do you have chance to modify your solution accordingly?

    Thanks
