Icon Only Appears for Me, Not Other Users?

I have an image / icon that toggles a variable I have set up to true or false. If that variable is set to false, another image / icon should appear.. and it does for me, but not with any other users.

I have tried changing the code to a single user / email, and this works for myself, but when I change it to another user it does not work for them.

"If (varToggleWorker = false And User().Email = "name@domain.com",true,false)"

I'm not sure where to go from here?

    hi @Fart_Sniffer ,

    Alternatively, use a collection for the allowed emails and check against that collection:

    // OnStart
    Collect(colAllowedEmails, ["name@domain.com", "name2@domain.com", "name3@domain.com"])

    Update the visibility formula:

    If(
     varToggleWorker = false &&
     User().Email in colAllowedEmails,
     true,
     false
    )

    Thanks! I haven't worked with collections yet, so this is a great intro to it.

    Will give it a shot and get back to you.

    It doesn't like "colAllowedEmails" (or "ColAllowedEmails") in the visibility formula.

    I did put the bit of code for onstart.

    Is there a step I'm missing? I'm new to collections.

    hey @Fart_Sniffer

    it should work if you seperate your email adresses with || instead of ,  did you try this?

    so something like this:

    If (varToggleWorker = false & User().Email = "name@domain.com" || User().Email=xxx@xxx.com,true,false)

    Let me know if my answer helped solving your issue.

    If it did please accept as solution and give it a thumbs up so we can help others in the community.

    Thanks, I did try coding something like this in the past using those or separators, but had the same issue.

    I have reattempted it with your code regardless, but it has come up with an error: "Incompatible Types for Comparison. These types cannot be compared: Boolean, Text."

    hey @Fart_Sniffer

    can u try this instead:

    If(varToggleWorker = false And (User().Email = "name@domain.com" Or User().Email = "xxx@xxx.com"), true, false)

    Let me know if my answer helped solving your issue.

    The code itself enters, and is a logical alternative, but it doesn't resolve the problem which I fear may not be resolved in alterations with this specific bit of code. As I suggested earlier, if I completely forsake having multiple users and just change it to a single user.. it will work for myself, but not anyone else when I switch the email.

    I worked out the problem, the emails / UPN are case sensitive!

    yes

    it can be the case that different data sources/connectors use different approaches some have upper cases some have lower.
    in this context its always a good idea to wrap around the Lower() function ;)
