Mod in Power automate is not working as expected

I tried mod function available in power automate but its not working as expected

for e.g. : In Power automate i tried as below

mod(-2233,3) its returning -1

where as it should return 2.

Is there any reason why its working differently here OR am i doing it incorrectly
