Automatic choice in a form

Hi all,

I am now working on a form for my company. I am wondering is there a function that after the user type on the number in a box, other box will be automatically tick for the user. For example, in the attached image, after I type the number, the app will automatically determine whether the 'Thread Checking' is satisfactory or not according to the range I set. Thanks a lot.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    You did not say which box (drop-down?) needed to be populated or which were being compared (the two on the left with the one at right?), but the Default of the Drop-down (I assume it is not a combo box) would be something like

    If(
     Value(YourThirdBox.Text) > Value(YourFirstBox.Text) &&
     Value(YourThirdBox.Text) < Value(YourSecondBox.Text),
     "Satisfactory",
     "Whatever . . . ."
    )

    Hi @WarrenBelz ,

    Sorry for insufficient information given. I would like the RHS Thread to be in the range of 220-250 while LHS Thread within 300-350 so the thread checking will be satisfactory, otherwise, unsatisfactory.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Default of Drop-down (I assume it is not a combo box)

    If(
     Value(YourRHSBox.Text) > =220 && Value(YourRHSBox.Text) <=250 &&
     Value(YourLHSBox.Text) > =300 && Value(YourLHSBox.Text) <=350,
     "Satisfactory",
     "Unsatisfactory"
    )

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    What is the Item property of Thread Checking Dropdown?

    I assume it is not of Text and that is why you see error. Please hover on Error X to see the error message.

    You could also click on App checker to see the error message as highlighted below -

    @Anonymous ,

    You are referring to the data card - you need to refer to the text box.

    Hi @WarrenBelz @bipinshan ,

    I just changed all three box's property to be Text, and referring to the text box. After I typed in the Default of the drop-down, and click to other area, and then click back, the things I type in default disappear.

    @Anonymous ,

    I am assuming the control is a drop-down (not a Combo Box as it needs DefaultSelectedItems). Make the Items of the Drop-down

    ["Satisfactory","Unsatisfactory"]

    Re: Automatic choice in a form

    Hi @WarrenBelz ,

    I can not type in both Items and DefaultSelectedItems. After I typed, it will revert back to the original setting. I'm not sure if it is relevant but my form is connect to microsoft list.
