List based on Dropdown selection

Hi All,

 

I keep on hitting on a wall on this one.

 

I have a Sharepoint list that has list of names per column.

The names can be difference depending on what column you are looking at.

I would a dropdown for the user to select a column title, then the list would display the contents of the title column selected.

 

Much appreciated.

    Hi AJ_Z,

    There are 18 columns all part of the same list on SharePoint.

    A large switch statement could do this:

     

    switch(dropdown.selected.value,
      "columnatext",ThisItem.columna.Text,

      "columnbtext",ThisItem.columnb.Text,

      "columnctext",ThisItem.columnc.Text,
      etc)
