Assistance needed with adding to Gallery Filter for Multiple Statuses

Hi,

I have the below code set for my gallery, in which there is three different available options to filter the gallery (Search Lookup - text input; Employee Requesting Action - Combo box; and Status - Combo box). I am trying to build in this code the ability to choose and filter by multiple statuses, in which at this time its only allowing users to filter by one status. The Statuses available in the combo box are (Submitted, Submitted (AF Request),  OCF PEM Returned, OCF PEM Returned (AF Request), OCF PEM Approved, OCF PEM Approved (AF Request),  FIO BFM Returned, FIO BFM Returned (AF Request), Project Order Revenue (6b), Project Order Revenue (6b)(AF Request), Cost Estimate Returned, and Cost Estimate Returned (AF Request). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Filter(
    'FIO OCF TN Request_1', (Status.Value <> "Complete (Final IIS)" && Status.Value <> "Complete (Final IIS)(AF Request)"),
    If(
        Len('Search Text Label'.Text) > 0,
        'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Prime Sponsor (Funding Source)' Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Task Description' Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('FY Funding Year'.Value) Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('NERP NWA(s) for FIO Charges (Control Acct.)') Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('Ship/Shore Site Name (Installation Location)'.Value) Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('Ship/Shore Site UIC'.Value) Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in 'System/ALT Brief' Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Job Identification (JID) Number' Or
        'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Tracking Number (TN)',
        true
    ),
    If(
        Not(IsBlank(EmployeeRequestingAction_ComboBox_1.Selected.Email)),
        'Created By'.Email = EmployeeRequestingAction_ComboBox_1.Selected.Email,
        true
    ),
    If(
       Not(IsBlank(Status_ComboBox_1.Selected.Value)),
        Status.Value = Status_ComboBox_1.Selected.Value,
        true

    )
)

    Hi @Johnny23 ,

    Could you please share more details about your scenario? What's the type of Status column in data source? Does it allow multiple selections?

    If in the data source it doesn't allow multiple selections, your formula can be modified to:

    Filter(
     'FIO OCF TN Request_1', (Status.Value <> "Complete (Final IIS)" && Status.Value <> "Complete (Final IIS)(AF Request)"),
     If(
     Len('Search Text Label'.Text) > 0,
     'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Prime Sponsor (Funding Source)' Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Task Description' Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('FY Funding Year'.Value) Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('NERP NWA(s) for FIO Charges (Control Acct.)') Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('Ship/Shore Site Name (Installation Location)'.Value) Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in Text('Ship/Shore Site UIC'.Value) Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in 'System/ALT Brief' Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Job Identification (JID) Number' Or
     'Search Text Label'.Text in 'Tracking Number (TN)',
     true
     ),
     If(
     Not(IsBlank(EmployeeRequestingAction_ComboBox_1.Selected.Email)),
     'Created By'.Email = EmployeeRequestingAction_ComboBox_1.Selected.Email,
     true
     ),
     If(
     Not(IsBlank(Status_ComboBox_1.Selected.Value)),
     Status.Value in Status_ComboBox_1.SelectedItems.Value,
     true
     )
    )

    Best regards,

    The type of the Status Column is a choice column, and the column is set to accept multiple choices.

    Hi @Johnny23 ,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    So, it comes to a question. What's the result would you like to get from the filter when selecting multiple statuses in the Combo box, exact match or include? For example, user selects 2 statuses, the filter could get records with

    1. exact the two statuses;

    2. include at least one of the two statuses;

    3. include both statuses;

    Which result would you like?

    Best regards,
