Hi All,

I have created automated workflow it's start with "when file is created or mofified" ,get file, list row in a table and ends with "send email V2" notification but flow triggers received two emails instead of one, the second email starts after 2 mins of first one. please share your suggestion how to stop second email.

Using flows

I assume that what's happening is this:

1. New item added

2. New item makes a change to the item. Triggering the OnChange aspect of the trigger.

3. New item sends email.

4. Onchange refires flow and sends email.

We have a specific user dedicated to be the Flow "Maker" (Microsoft nomenclature). When this user makes a change, it will trigger the OnChange Flow, but I use a trigger condition to suppress that user from being able to trigger the Flow. (When a trigger condition is not met, the Flow is suppressed, and there is no record that an attempt was ever made.)

If that is too complicated, consider making too flows, such that the email is only sent from the OnCreate or from the OnChange, but not both.

Feel free to elaborate on what's happening in your flow that might net a better answer.
