Error on PowerApps trigger in Flow

I am trying to pass a string value from PowerApps to Flow. I want to split the values into an array using this expression split(triggerBody()['Initializevariable_Value],',') but I am getting the error below:

I also checked some blogs that might be similar to what i want to do but still faced the same issue:

@v-micsh-msft - I saw your answer on one of the posted question. Do we have another approach for this in 2019?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a similar discussion in the Flow community but there is no actual information or solution, the solution marked is not a reply to the question.

    Hi @karl_oliverio ,

Could you please share a screenshot about your flow's configuration?

Do you have passed proper value (e.g. 'a,b,c,d, ...') from your app to your flow?

Further, do you set the Type field to Array within the "Initialize variable" action in your flow?

I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. Please take a try with the following workaround:

    App's configuration as below:7.JPG

    Flow''s configuration as below:8.JPG

The flow executes successfully as below:9.JPG

Please consider re-create a flow based on above solution I provided, then check if the issue is solved.

Note: Please add a "Compose" action within your flow to retrieve the passed string value from your app, then within your flow, split the string value into an array based on the output of the "Compose" action.

I also made a test based on your flow's configuration, but if I specify the parameter within the "Initialize variable" action directly, I could not create a connection to the flow from my app, it would show "Register error".

    Best regards,

Hi @v-xida-msft , Thank you for your recommendation to recreate the flow. First I tried working on the solution that you provided on my current flow but I still got an error. I recreated the flow and associated the button from the apps to that flow and it works fine right now. Thank you so much!
