Flow unintentionally clearing out activityparty field in CDS phonecall entity

Hi all

Putting together a Flow which updates the Call From on the CDS phonecall entity. I also update the Due and owner fields at the same time. This behaviour works exactly as intended but unfortunately updating this field also clears out the Call To field in CDS, leaving it blank. Any suggestions?

    Hello,

Please check if there are any business rules in place, which is reverting the field value based on meeting certain conditions.

Please try performing the same action outside of power automate, and verify if the value changes or remain same.

Best way to identify the root cause is to enable the auditing on that entity field, and then verify which processing is reverting the field value.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/enable-use-comprehensive-auditing

    Hope this helps !

    Hi @rohsh354

Thanks for your reply. I have replicated the behaviour in a vanilla environment so can confirm it is not an issue with any business rules, plugins, etc. Audit history also confirms that Call To field is being updated in the same transaction. In the short term I have reverted back to using a workflow but do now have a ticket open with Microsoft so hopefully they'll confirm it is incorrect behaviour and fix.

    Thanks again!

    Luke
