Syncing between Google and Outlook Calendars creates duplicate events

I am trying to avoid circular logic. When I create a calendar entry in Outlook, I am trying to create one in google and visa-versa.

The problem should be obvious--> one triggers the other.... is there a way to add a condition to check for the existence of preferably the event ID... if not the name before inserting a new event?

Thank you ahead of time!

    Hi Peteunderwood,

Per my test, it seems that it is not possible to check if an event has been created in the calendar. I referred to this documentation about Workflow definition Language, please check it for a reference:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/logic/definition-language

If convenience, please consider to submit it as new feature request on Flow ideas Forum, so it might be considered as new release in the future:

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao
