So, this is hard to duplicate, so I'm just going to describe what's happening to see if anyone else has encountered this.
I'm creating a Power App form that uses a Sharepoint List to store the values put into the form fields.
So I have 6 fields on my form, 1-line text fields. The display names by default are Parent.Default so it is showing the names of the fields as I have named those fields in the Sharepoint List. I typically don't like to use Spaces in my column names so I have them named stuff like ContactName, QualityManager, etc...
For display purposes though I want the names next to the text fields to say "Contact Name" and "Quality Manager's Name", etc...
so I click on each field, then click on the name part, hit F2 and type my new display name. I do that for all 6 fields.
Then I hit SAVE and Publish. then I click the "<- Back" button to go back to the make power apps dashboard that shows all my apps. I close my browser.
Later in the day, I go to Edit my power app, and the first fieldname that I edited looks good, and the FOURTH field that I edited looks good, but fields 2, 3, 5 and 6 have reverted back to Parent.Default as their display name.
Why is SAVE being so random about what is actually saved? hehe.
I have created 3 different forms over the past year, and it's always done this. I'll save, and then come back to my project later and RANDOM things have reverted while others have saved correctly, in random chronological order, and often stuff gets MOVED around by a few pixels here and there, or stuff gets resized by a pixel or two on random fields.
Is there any way to get SAVE to, you know, actually SAVE my form as it looks RIGHT NOW, and not randomly revert or change things the next time I load my form? 🙂 Any ideas? Thanks!
