When an agent from Copilot Studio is published into Copilot Chat, it does not receive images attached. It is lost in the system as there is no way to access it from Copilot Studio Tools, looks like it was necer sent.

This is a confirmed platform limitation, not an issue with your agent.

Microsoft confirmed that M365 Copilot Chat has limited support for image uploads. The images are not passed through to agents published in that channel. Teams channel fully supports image uploads and your agent would receive them there.

Workarounds for M365 Copilot Chat:
1. Ask users to share a OneDrive or SharePoint link to the image instead of uploading directly. The agent can then access and process the image via the link.
2. Enable file/image input in Copilot Studio Settings > File/Image input and republish this helps in some tenant configurations but doesn't guarantee M365 Chat will pass the image through.
3. If image processing is critical, deploy the agent to Teams instead where image uploads are fully supported.
