I hope you are good.
I need to ask you a quick question about web portal local authentication functionality using customer service portal.
I have customers who already have their record contact record created in dynamics but their logins are not created.
We want them to create their login through portal by sending them a link, now If they create e new login, a new contact record is being added, which is not correct in my scenario.
It has to be mapped to their existing contact record. We want them to create their login, but using the same contact record? How is it possible?
What role exactly a local login creation does?
What is the way out to this?
And how do i enable emails to this?

This can be achieved by sending an invitation redemption code.
