Hey, I'm currently working with web form and I would like to attach a PDF file in it. I've searched the way and it all has something to do with adding note to entity metadata. However I am using web form and I have no clue on how to achieve that. Any help will be very much appreciated, Thank You!

    Hey @Anonymous,

In the portal management app click Web Forms > select the web form you're working with > navigate to the step of the form you need > click related > Click Metadata and then you can add the note metadata you are looking for.

I highly reccomend @nhayduk's youtube channel, it has been priceless for my learning experience thus far with portals.

Here's his video talking about Note Form Metadata

    Hi @Anonymous

Did you create the Entity Permission for Notes?

    Did you clear the cache?

    Hi @Anonymous

Yes you need to create entity permission for the notes.

    Below link will help:

Can I access form editor when I'm composing web form or I don't have to?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Just making sure: you want this PDF to be visible to all users on every web form, or on a particular web form record? The steps explained by the others are how you would add a PDF to a specific web form as an attachment.

If you want the PDF to be available to all others (e.g. an instructional doc), you would just make it a Web File and add a hyperlink.

Hey @hardikv , I can't seem to access this editor, I'm stuck on portal because I am not using crm at the moment. Is there any way I can add note section to my web form using portal management? Thank you
